Very good and book - an informative read.

Some interesting information, but I strongly disagree with some of the author's opinions. Seriously? An alkaline diet is harmful? Excuse me sir, but diseases cannot exist in an alkaline environment. The problem is, most people are acidic; therefore, this is the primary reason for so much cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and any other kind of medical problem.And saying that vegetarians and vegans are unhealthier than others is just plain wrong. For one thing, a human's digestive system is not DESIGNED to eat meat. Our bodies simply cannot digest meat, a dirty-little secret the meat and dairy industries absolutely don't want you to know. It rots away in the colon, where much disease originates.True carnivores, such as lions, tigers, wolves, dogs and cats, have short digestive systems. The meat moves through their systems quickly. Vegetarian animals such as elephants, giraffes, and horses have digestive systems that are similar to humans. How interesting that animals know what they are supposed to be eating, while humans do not.Lastly, your book is filled with links to other books...basically, a bunch of advertisements. A great source of new (to me!) food info! The author's down-to-earth style compels me to try some very odd-sounding ideas! He speaks with authority, humility, and lots of experience, having regained his health in a most un-orthodox way! Everyone can benefit from reading this book!
