I would not buy another one. Being the cheap person I am I was trying to get by cheap and buy one that had the longer life well this was supposed to be a factory lamp in a generic housing. Ever since I put it in there are times the lamp does not start and the TV cycles on and off a number of times until it starts. The flashing green light code says the lamp door may not be closed properly. Well I have even pulled the lamp out and reinstalled it and it is still doing it. I had to replace the lamp once before but that was because of the inferior lamps that were installed at the factory. At least when I replaced that one it worked great and that one lasted 5 years and hopefully even with the bug this one has I hope it will last at least 3 years I would be happy. If not and it comes down to having to keep replacing the bulbs I will chuck the TV and buy a new flat screen like I should have 6 years ago. I just don't feel like paying close to $250 for a factory lamp and thought this would be the answer. Well time will tell.Update, I am still having problems with the TV not wanting to start up and now it is really getting annoying. I pulled out the lamp to switch it to the Toshiba housing and wires since the wires on the old unit are heavier but this thing isn't even a Toshiba lamp in a generic housing like I thought it was supposed to be. Save your money and put it towards an LED or Plasma TV. You will likely be further ahead in the long run. Even though this TV does have a nice picture when it does finally turn on I would hate to part with it. I don't see this thing lasting another year. If it goes I think the TV goes with it. What a waste of money!!!Update 2-3-13, I have returned product for a full refund. My account has not been credited for the refund and they have had it over a week. I would suggest not buying from Lampedia. I have since bought an actual OEM part from another seller(lamps-dlp.com and it is an actual OEM part and not OEM replacement or OEM equivalent)and not on Amazon and it cost $164 but at least my TV is working properly.

Received shipped item and frame fasteners were broken. plus electrical plug was the wrong size. I probably won"t order again. I used frame from one of my old bulbs and removed bulb from shipped lamp and used wiring from old lamp because I didn't want to wait another week or more to return and receive a new one. so much for 2 Day shipping!

This replacement bulb only lasted 2 days the first time I bought it, so they sent me a new one and this one only lasted 8 months !!! Not very happy and I wont buy from them again!

The replacement lamp does not work for me. The lamp exploded within a week. However, the refund is fast after I shipped the damaged items back.
