The Flipclip is Great for Readers
The FlipClip is a remarkable device, light-weight, perfect holding books open and leaving hands free. Easy to turn pages by raising one or the other of the front clips. It's particularly useful for someone like me, who consults multiple books at once. I initially bought 3 Flipclips and gave one to my husband. Then I bought another package for myself and also as gifts for other book lovers. It should also work with magazines to leave hands free for those working on the treadmill, elliptical machine, etc. Such a simple device, light enough to take on your travels. Highly recommended!

Good product & fast delivery
It holds the book open very well but it slides off of the book holder. Works best with hardcover books.

Pick your color - place the order!
The media could not be loaded. I wish I had known about this sooner. Most of my books are massive and I get tired of holding them open - the one for this review is well over 600 pages. I don’t like electronic readers, I like an actual book! This has been a game changer. In my video you will see the pages come out easy and upon turning the page, if you use two hands and gently place the page under the arm there is no damage. I only used one hand due to recording and was able to do so just fine with no damage. Two photos show the device holding the book open by just the pages and another by the panels. It holds well both ways; that says a lot due to how large the book is. I find the FlipKlip looks easy, because it truly is simplistic. It has arms that hold open when setting up, with a strong spring load that adjusts effortlessly and holds well. Super simple, and versatile. A great American made product worth the money.

Handy for the treadmill or elliptical reader
The media could not be loaded. I was initially skeptical of this product, largely because the packaging makes it look like it was manufactured in and dug out of a time capsule from 1976, but it’s turned out to be just the thing for reading on the treadmill or elliptical. It fits a wide range of books, from bulky hardbacks to thinner paperbacks and keeps the book opened wide enough. Pretty neat little gadget, definitely worth the $18 or so price for anyone who needs to keep a book open without holding it the entire time.

Works as expected
Great idea, but I can tell that it’s not going to last. It’s functional for now, but the plastic is low quality.

Very useful while being easy to use
I got these on a whim and I am very glad that I came across these when looking for a book holder. These are compact and easily hold my books open to alleviate any strain on my own hands while trying to do the same thing. These also allow me to open a book out on a table while I ready without fear that the book would close and I'd lose my page. They feel well made and as though they'll last a long time. I hope that's the case because I really enjoy them.

Can't Turn Pages
I've been searching for something that would hold my Mom's paperbacks for her now that she can't use her left arm or hand at all. The reviews said this would do the trick; there was even one saying it's great for someone who's had a stroke. However, I tested it on my own paperbacks. Even using both hands and a lot of precision care, I was clearly risking tearing the pages when trying to tease a page out from the right side, and couldn't insert it on the left side without crumpling it up. Maybe if I clamped it to just a few pages at the start and end it would hold the book open, but then it would take constant effort to hold the pages flat enough to read and Mom just hasn't got that strength now. (She can't really do ebooks either, so far we have not found a device that holds the tablet in the right position for her to both see and scroll without jostling it too much or wearing out her arm with lifting to swipe. Besides, she has some beloved paperbacks she wants to read again and again). It's very sturdy, very compact. Very easy to clamp on to a book when you have both hands available. But it is *not* a solution to one handed paperback reading, especially not if you want to use even the one hand sparingly.
