Thymes Goldleaf Body Wash - 9.25 Oz

expensive for what we get...but i do love it..

I’m a big fan of Thymes Goldleaf body cream, but I can’t find the original size (9 oz) anywhere---only a small 2.5 oz. size is currently available. I thought a good substitute might be Goldleaf body wash, but I find it's somewhat lacking—it doesn't seem to have the same characteristic soft scent like the body cream does. Even so, this wash is pleasant enough, but what deters me from purchasing it again is the horrible pump, which pushes out just the tiniest bit of soap. I end up unscrewing the top and adding a small dollop onto a bath mitt that way. It irks me that I have to do this every time I want to use the wash.

I have used this fragrance from Thymes for years and layer the body wash and powder for longer lasting smell. I also give it as a hostess gift. I did think the original packaging was prettier than the one that they currently use but it’s what’s inside that counts, right?

I love the fragrance of this product and have used it for years, but to my disappointment, the purchased body wash here has no lather whatsoever, forget to put it on a sponge, it will not create lather. Even if you just put in your wet hands, it barely bubbles. I'm returning it. I attempted to call the maker directly and ask if they changed the formula, to which I was told no, then I tried to buy a small one see if different, but the small bottle and the high shipping cost was $16, so I desisted.

Gold Leaf by Thymes is a wonderful scent, and I love this body wash. Not drying, smells great, does what youexpect a body wash to do, plus, your bathroom smells great when you are done showering. The scent is warm, somewhat floral, powdery. I would say for adult women, not the young. Only problem I had was with the pump, very hard to get it so it worked, especially since I am older, hard for my hands to release the pump.
