I got this because it’s not always easy to find in the store and I was trying to make a meringue type ghost for my friends Halloween party. Making the meringue was a disaster and I don’t know what part of it made it not work but I did everything I could to try to doctor it up and nothing worked. I don’t know what else I would use this for right now but it was the main ingredient. I think it’s going to be a long time before I try to make meringue again lol It was nice to be able to find it here on Amazon with fast delivery.

Recently learned not to just buy the baking products offered at the grocery store. Have been doing my own research into quality products. Making better, healthier foods. Instead of baking powder, I just use half baking soda and half cream of tarter. No additives needed to keep it from clumping. I have control over both ingredients that I use, as well. Just like buying unsalted, fresh butter. I pick the salt! Buying COT separately, also allows me to experiment with different balances in my baked goods for the needed rise. Handy when creating my own recipes.
