The book is in good condition and arrived on time. It is will serve the purpose; I needed it for a class and it will get through that. I am very happy with it. It is not the kind of book most people read for entertainment. But it is very informative.

Contians Luther's writings for those looking for clarification of his thoughts.

This book contains many great primary sources for anyone who is trying to gain a deeper understanding of the Protestant Reformation

Extremely Dense. Sometimes gets lost in the weeds and I’m not sure where I am.

Great book for Church history nerds.

The book seemed interesting and got here in a timely fashion and in proper condition. It was a gift so I didn't read it though so I can't comment on that.

If you want to know how it all started and why and who the key players are, I highly recommend this book. I had to read it for a college course I was taking and as I read it, I truly appreciated it as required reading.

don't listen to the negative reviews. I had Dr. Hillerbrand as a professor during my undergrad time at duke, and not only is he a solid scholar of the reformation, but this book is a solid primary source collection as well.
