Tusk Whip Replacement Flag Pole 1/4 inch Pole

Last year, I bought a very cheap whip required at Sand Hollow in St George. The top half flew off when returning from off-roading. The top half is just slipped onto the bottom half in a nonlocking collar, and the wind lifts it off. This whip is almost identical but the rods are locked into collars at the bottom and middle so they will not fly apart.The cheap ones will work if you epoxy the top rod onto the base rod. Or, remove the top rod before getting back onto the highway.

Works well.

I had in the past purchased this same unit that was 1/4". I bought two of these to be able to run more flags on my sxs. These are not the same size!! would not work with older unit I already had.

PLEASE DONT DISAPPOINT YOURSELF, BECAUSE THATS WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF YOU BUY THIS. ROD DOES NOT HAVE HOLES AS SHOWN. ROD IS VERY THIN AND BRITTLE. AS SOON AS I INSTALLED THE ROD, THE BOLT BROKE IMMEDIATELY. SOFTER THAN ALUMINUM AND NOT MEANT FOR ANYTHING REMOTELY RELIABLE. JUST STRAIGHT GARBAGE AND A WASTE OF TIME.

If this is for a kid's bicycle it works just fine. It serves the purpose for what it is and the cost. If you have an ATV don't bother it breaks right away and frays. Get steel!!

Fiberglass piles are not the best of quality. Went by a small branch and it snapped right off.

Why is there a hole in the bottom of the bolt? The pole just slides right through. Makes no sense.
