I wanted some classic linen napkins that are good for many occasions. These are exactly what I wanted. Some other reviewers have commented that these are too thin. I find them to be a perfect weight. They hold their shape well after washing and do not shrink. Pretreating removed all the stains from our Thankgiving feast. They do wrinkle if not properly handled: Pretreat stains and use hot water in your washer. Put in the dryer for just five minutes and then remove while damp. Smooth out on a waterproof table or top of the washer. Okay to stack the napkins while damp. Before they dry completely, iron them with a hot iron. They look perfect and appear starched without being scratchy. I have used mine about 5 times so far with no threads pulling or warping. Yes, they take a bit of TLC but they are LINEN. Enjoy the ritual. Breathe. You are ironing love into the fabric that your guests will feel.

These were such a value but be warned they must be ironed. They are thick and the hemstitch is beautiful. Very happy with these napkins and will use for years to come!

I am pleased with these napkins. As other reviews say, they are linen and come out wrinkly. I do a enjoy a casual tousled look but the edges become VERY wrinkly and wadded. It makes them hard to fold. I found that iron the edges a few times while they are new helped prevent the deep permanent wrinkles. But if you want more formal no-iron napkins, these are not for you.They are soft and absorbent. The flax color hides any staining.

Love these napkins. The linen fabric makes them. The hem is elegant and made the presentation that much better. They were absorbent and the perfect addition to the Easter dinner table. Definitely will be picking these up in other colors.

Absolutely beautiful, chic, better than expected. After washing/drying in machine they come out very fluffy and wrinkly but still pretty. I find they look perfection and fold flat when hung to dry after machine or hand wash. If you want them crisp and flat then ironing after is a must. All that being said I’m ordering more :))

These feel really nice and have been stain resistant. I do iron mine, but the washed linen look is totally fine. Lovely.

Have washed these twice now. They wash well. Of course you have to iron, but that’s what I expected from linen napkins. I would purchase other colors as well.
