The Body Shop Black Musk Eau De Toilette Spray, 2. Fluid Ounce

Previously, I have purchased "The Body Shop Black Musk Perfume Oil - 20ml." I could not find "Black Musk Perfume Oil - 20ml," so I thought the aerosol would be a nice alternative. NOT EVEN CLOSE. I, foolishly, purchased two bottles of the "Black Musk Eau De Toilette Perfume - 60ml." It has the smell of isopropyl alcohol with a very very faint scent of Black Musk. The open bottle didn't have the sound of liquid contents when gently shaken; no sound as if it was empty. I atomized twice after weighing to see if anything would come out. Look at the video to see the difference in weight from the full unopened bottle and the one sprayed twice. It's empty now. I paid for an empty bottle! I paid for isopropyl alcohol! Sooooo disappointing as the "Black Musk Perfume Oil - 20ml" was 5+ stars if I could award so many. This "Black Musk Eau De Toilette Perfume - 60ml," is definitely negative stars if possible! UPDATE: I just noticed the label on the empty bottle sent to me. Look at the picture, the label is worn looking. Sure wish I had noticed this before removing the plastic.

This is a heavy fragrance with maybe an hour’s worth of staying power. It was a blind buy- so my fault, but still, I’m just not as impressed as I hoped I’d be. It smells like older, vintage fragrances. Very department store. Think opium, poison, or the early aughts Versace crystal noir but without the sparking notes and without the staying power. First spray was a lot like youth dew to me. Then it wound down to something like the others I mentioned-in that family. It smells like a typical vintage oriental genre fragrance. I do not smell the pink pepper or bergamot at all. It’s a heavy, heady vintage scent for sure. I’m not in love with it only because there are so many already like it. It’s not unique. But for a fragrance this heavy, I expected at least some staying power. Alas, there’s none.

I really can't complain about this too much because of the price but I'm still disappointed. This scent is very nice. It's not a dupe for YSL Black Opium but in the same scent family. It's gourmand sweet with sexy and musky notes. My issue is that this has the strength of a body spray! In fact, I have body sprays that last longer than this "EDT". The alcohol content is quite high and it leaves an oily residue but hardly radiates away from my body. Within 10-15 minutes, I can no longer smell it on myself. I've tried putting some onto my hair or clothes but that only minimally increases the sillage. Considering the 3-5 sprays I use each application and the number of times I have to reapply, I imagine that this won't last long. There is an EDP version as well as an scented oil but I doubt they'll be much of an improvement.

Absolutely smells amazing i got it for my husband but i liked it so much that i had to but myself another one.

Livraison rapide.j’avais hâte de sentir ce parfum comme le red musk qui m’intéressait et j’en avais entendu parler.packaging sobre simple il sent bon un côté fort sucré à la fois poire vanillé musqué un peu masculin aussi par contre il ne tiens pas longtemps sur la peau et sur la durée sûrement parce que c’est une eau de toilette..je recommande pour son prix accessible à 15€ pour 60 ML.
