Chocolove Xoxox Premium Chocolate Bar - Dark Chocolate - Ginger Crystallized - 3.2 Oz Bars - Case Of 12

I love ginger. Been just getting into dark chocolate so decided to try dark chocolate with stuff in it. The ginger is noticeable but not strong. Has the hint of spice and bite I am looking for. Personally I could use more ginger in this. But it is good, and I will buy more. I typically just eat 2-3 squares at a time. Gives me a nice little treat, and pretty healthy one at that. Pricy at $4.87 (I bought it a few days ago at $4.27, so it had raised quite a bit), but I dont rate on price. Though I may refrain from ordering more if price is still high.

This bar is very sweet for having such a high percentage of cocoa. I was disappointed that the ginger was so mild in flavor and covered over but the sugariness. If you want a sweet bar with only a hint of ginger this is probably a good choice. But I was looking for a more bitter-sweet bar with more tang.

This bar would get 10 stars from me were the review just based on taste and mouth-feel. Alas, read yesterday that Chocolate bars are extremely high in heavy metals, specifically cadmium and lead. Sorry Chocolove it's time to switch to a safer brand!

My wife and I loved this bar! It's a delicious combo of flavors. We probably wont get more than 1 at a time as the things are very addicting.
