I bought this after a plumber kindly recommended I try and clear the blockage in my slow draining bathroom sink with an aqua vac rather than him charging me 180 quid to clear it. It arrived today and I used it with some scepticism. It worked like a charm first time. Insanely powerful, it sucked up all the standing water and horrible gunk clogging the sink in seconds. Can’t say it was fun to clean it afterwards but saved myself over a hundred quid and ended up with a new vacuum in the process.

This cleaner has great suction, is much quieter than I expected, is not too heavy & is easy to wheel around even for this 72 year old with arthritis. The tool storage has been well thought out and the stainless steel body is so sleek that my animated Chewbacca tried to commandeer it for use as a replacement Millennium Falcon. The only thing that lets it down is a short power cord so it has to be used with an extension cable, another thing for me to trip over! I live in a small flat & the problem would be much more annoying for someone living in a bigger house. The Kärcher KWD 3 Anniversary Edition Wet & Dry Vacuum was a bargain but I would have been happy to pay more & have a longer cable. I cannot comment on durability as I haven't had the machine for long.

I really wasn’t sure whether to buy this. Was put off by reviews I had read that said it was cheaply made and all plastic. I’ve used the machine now for all kinds of jobs inside and out. It’s the only vacuum cleaner I’ve ever had that seamlessly lifts dog hair from every surface. The suction is incredible. I have put this machine through its paces and it’s made short work of cleaning my car, my house and sofa. Even hoovered the mud off the bottom of some very muddy trainers. Couldn’t believe what it picked up. Yes it’s made of plastic but it is sturdy. It’s so lightweight and it hasn’t toppled over once and I’ve cleaned everything in sight. The filter was very clogged with pet hair (all the stuff my other hoovers struggled to pick up) by the time I had finished and it did not lose any suction power. I’m chuffed with this purchase and it puts my Sebo and Dyson to shame. My one gripe is that the power cable is ridiculously short making an extension cable essential.

I bought this to help me remove the last pools of water remaining in my above ground pool. It has tackled it like a breeze. Yes, it fills up quite quickly, but the hours saved trying to do it by hand with a sponge and bucket makes it no issue for me. Incredibly and with its different functionality I'm sure it'll be handy for other chores as well. TIP: if you can't find the attachments on opening the box, they are inside the unit - Doh I thought they were missing!

Brilliant piece of kit with great suction. I havn't tried it for taking up liquids. If anything it is quite noisy but I guess that is to be expected.

Do not recommend. Longtime Karcher customer and very disapointed. Was going to say the power cord is comically short but there's nothing funny about it because it's downright dangerous. It is so incredibly short that I need an extension lead permanently attached just to do my small kitchen. Because it's so short, the plug and extension lead have to sit on a wet floor because you can't locate the extention socket away from the machine, it's not evenong enough for that. The poles are plastic - fine, but they're also really flimsy and too short. The short pokes mean that the squeegee doesn't engage with the floor, even when I stoop down. I bought a telescopic metal pole for it that was sold as fitting it but it didn't fit, which just added to te frustration because you want to be able to plug it in and use it straight out of the box, without needing to buy poles. Then I tried to find an alternative pole and adapter, or a short extention pole at the very least. Spent hours trying to find something that would work with it, only to discover the pole from my Miele C3 fits both the WD3 and its tools. Now I need to buy another Miele pole so I don't risk getting water in my Miele. The hise is far too short and the machine has to sit right by you. As you move the floor head back and forth, the hose is so short that the vacuum moves as you push the floor tool. I did not expect a premium product but I did expect basic functionality out of the box. I expected the poles to have some rigidity and to reach the floor. I expected a hose that's fit for purpose and a power lead that isn't dangerous. I could have bought a cheap vac like this for half the price by another make. From now on I won't give Karcher another penny and once I can afford to replace the Karcher WD3 S I just bought then I will, with a Nilfisk, Numatic, or I may give Vacmaster or V-Tuf a go. Maybe even Sealey, who knows. I can't fathom how this unit gets good reviews. The good reviews must be by very short people who don't value their life/electrical safety.

This is a great, durable and powerful vacuum cleaner. I have 3 of these for my businesses. I find that they provide powerful suction and have never had any issues. I run 3 nail salons, so vacuum dust and dirt everyday. These are great machines at an affordable price. Only minus would be the length of cable. If it can be longer, it be perfect.
