Q: What fabric are they made of? It says "modal cotton" but they feel like polyester. Anyone know for sure?

The difference between cotton and modal fabric is that modal is softer and silkier, while cotton is warmer and more breathable. I bought many types of turbans and these were my favorite, by far.

Q: Adjustable but also pre-tied. Could someone help clarify — can you retie the tie straps, or are they sewn “pre-tied”?

I found that when I tied the two strands that hang down, it wasn't tight enough for my head so I snipped the seam and now I can tie it tighter.

Q: Can these be put in the dryer?

I have dried them in the dryer. I like to launder and dry using mesh bags. If they are still damp, I just hang them to finish drying.
