How can I prevent fiberglass issues ?

Where can I get the padding that’s included in the pictures?

I'm not sure where to get that exact padding, but perhaps a comforter for a bed would provide just as much cushion.

I wouldn't able to tell you the exact size, but it was pretty big to fit 3 kids comfortably and play together.

Is this strong enough to put blankets on top of or would it get crushed/tip over?

The PVC is strong enough. But why would you? The tent portion is enough. It looks great and covers everything.
