UPDATE 01312023
One of my biggest complaints with this camera was that it could only do time lapse OR motion. That has been fixed with the newest software update which now allows for both programs at the same time. You get the security of motion detection, but the time lapse lets you know the camera is still working. A very nice improvement!Bought this for a construction site camera. It’s just not very flexible. Bought the 1000 picture plan, and it sent all 1000 in just a few days because it detected every fluttering leaf on the site. Turned down the sensitivity which did help. I have it set to send one image when motion is detected, but it still sends multiples. Changed it to time lapse mode, but then that wouldn’t capture motion so it defeats the purpose. Changed it back to detect motion, and now it hasn’t sent an image in 2 days. Just a real pain that requires constant attention.

Best cameras I have ever owned
I have owned multiple brands of cameras, with a wide range of prices, and these are by far the best cameras for the money out there.Picture and video quality are amazing. Clear images in both settings. Motion detection is also great. Rarely do I get a picture of a tail moving out of the frame, and when I do its usually a deer that is MOVING.I use Moultrie's solar chargers with my cameras, so I cannot give an accurate response to battery life of just the unit, but with the chargers I have not had to change batteries in over 3 months of use. Typically I am changing batteries every few weeks at a minimum.Moultrie Mobile (the app) is great as well. Good detection for bucks, does, and coyotes. Have not used for other species, so no comment there. The detection can be tricked, as it looks for antlers, so I have had small bucks ID'd as does, and does ID'd as bucks if branches land just right.

Does not take pictures consistently
This camera works with an integrated app that allows you to check the camera remotely from your phone. I set the camera up near the feeder and adjusted it in the same spot my previous camera had been. The smart technology allows you to choose if you want pictures of something specific, or anything that moves in the path of its lens. I checked all the boxes. So, according to the app I should have pictures coming in of hogs, cow, and deer (that are absolutely entering the feeder area and the direct path of the camera, evidenced by feeder damage and prints everywhere) as well as anything else that flies or moves in its view. My battery health is great, SD card has space and coverage is fair. Zero pics. The only pic I can actually cause it to take is of my own face when I am physically present and adjusting the position manually. Maybe I got a bad camera. Maybe this model just isn’t that great. It is not for a lack of trying. I’ve made multiple trips back and forth to my lease and cannot get anything consistent.I’ve used several brands of game cameras and have been hunting for many years. I was excited about the features this camera and its app setup. However, they just do not work.

Update: customer service wins the day.
Update: Pradco upgraded me to the Edge model. I have had it in service for a week. Works great. I give them 4 stars, withholding one only because of the time and phone calls I had to make to get the final outcome. I would buy from them again.Original:I purchased a MoultrieMobile Delta Base camera, solar battery and annual photo plan. I don’t know if this camera works or not. The first unit would take a new photo every minute, even with no game on the field of vision. 100 or more. This situation happened regardless of where the camera was placed. After troubleshooting with customer service, Pradco outdoor brands sent a refurbished unit. I requested a new unit since this was a gift to a family member. After some discussion, they agreed to replace with a new unit as an “accommodation”. Second new camera arrives…and is also defective! Now, customer service says they will only replace with a refurbished unit. Refurbished electronics regularly sell for 50% of normal retail for a good reason! I can understand offering a refurbished unit if mine had worked for 6 months or so, but I have yet to receive a properly functioning camera.I must add that their customer service agents have been excellent to work with. But their hands are tied by the decision of the “supervisor”.I have requested a full refund of purchase price as well as photo subscription. We will see how they handle this. I’m hopeful a different supervisor will agree.

Overall solid
Overall is a good product. A couple minor reasons is why I picked 4 stars instead of 5. 1. Service can be spotty sometimes which can be annoying when trying to get pics to your phone2. can’t adjust the timing in between pictures to less than the default of around 45-60 seconds3. I’ve been hunting and seen deer stand infront of it and didn’t get a picture somehow… 4. also it takes 12 batteries and that lasts about 7-10 days of taking pics (I used alkaline) which can get pricey these days5. Lastly, the subscription itself to get pics to your phone is at least another 16-17$ per month… so while it seems like a great deal having a camera that sends stuff to your phone for only 70-80$ on Amazon… the other parts add up quickly… still a good product overall though and I’m glad I have at least one camera that sends pics right to my phone

Nice camera for the money
This camera has worked well for me. It is my first cellular trail camera. The daytime quality is excellent and nightime is much better that the other cameras that I've had. The mobile app works great. Just make sure that you get good cell reception where you plan to use it before buying. I get a great signal where I use this camera so no problems here. I did initially use AA batteries for for the camera and they ran from September to mid November. I have now paired this with a solar panel/battery and it works great until you get very low temps (sub zero). One thing to remember if you do use an external lithium battery is that the camer battery meter may show 100% while the battery is nowhere near 100%. I liked this camera so much I bought another.

Does not work in Canada.
Luckily Moultrie customer support is good and ultimately asked me to destroy the current cams as they only work on Verizon network. And we only have AT&T here on Canada. They are sending me versions of the cam compatible with Canadian networks.

Can't be used in Canada!
Not fit for purpose - Verizon connection not possible in Canada. Despite them selling a product that can't be used, I had to pay costs for return.
