Well made - metal construction
The router is made of metal which feels very high quality. The router works great out of the box. Love the fact that it has mounting holes so I can put it up when traveling!

Works with T-mobile pre-paid plans
My new home does not have cable/dsl/fiber internet options. My choice was satellite, AT&T business wireless internet. T-Mobile 5g was not available. However T-Mobile 4g was possible.I had a t-mobile Hotspot but it did not work at my location. It was a small one and no external antenna. I took a chance and ordered this router. Easy to set up, lost my other router before this arrived, so getting a new sim from t-mobile and activating it was the hardest part.I can download at 15MB right now, upload not so great. I am ordering an external antenna so I can hopefully increase that.Update. - Added external antenna. It has been working well. Mainly used it to stream tv/movie with Roku TV.

Does not do the job.
After spending way too much time trying to get this to work, I had to give up. I could not get the LTE radio to connect reliably. It would work. Then stop. Then I had to reboot. Work. Stop. Reboot. Repeat.I was trying to get a reliable back up LTE router but this is not the one. The firmware supplied has no instructions, and very difficult to find any info online. This is not plug and play by any stretch of the imagination.I had hopes for it, but alas it is going back...

Unstable user interface and router fails to get a WAN ip assigned
Found the following vendor's statement about as far from the truth as you can get: "Directly insert the SIM card, then you will enjoy the WiFi with your friends with this portable 4G LTE router."Messed around with this router for 2 days (and tried to contact their support [email protected] which bounces, thought it could be a manual typo and tried [email protected] - no response. The router see and understands the SIM card, however no WAN ip address is ever assigned to the router.Don't waste your time on this router - it isn't plug and play despite the vendor's assurance.
