I bought theses for stocking stuffers for my six grandchildren, ranging in age from 7 to 19. I encouraged the kids to have contests to see whose top could spin the longest. Everyone got into the action, with even the 19 year old stating that they were quite fun toys. It was a hit.

I was excited about the 3 larger ones in this set, but they are not well balanced. The holes are drilled slightly off center, giving them a wobble. The big ones look great, and are a great size! but kind of disappointing overall. The smaller ones work fine, they seem even a little better balanced for some reason. All of them only spin for about 30 seconds. The colors do look great though, I must say. I got another wooden set from Plan Toys, and those work well. Simpler colors, and slightly more expensive per piece, but better made, and worth it imo.

These are a heavy, real wood. They spin so nicely. Great quality for my education class.
