This overall pet dish is 5.4" high to the rim and is well suited to all cats and smaller dogs as Pomeranians, Yorkies and Chihuahuas. The 5.5" diameter/1.25" deep bowl was designed specifically for dry food, hard food or water for one small pet. It holds 1.5 cups. The deeper bowl keeps dry food better contained and less exposed to air. The elevated pedestal design Polish pottery stoneware bowl helps keep water cleaner and better tasting. Polish Pottery is a Plus

I have four cats ordered 3 raised dishes very thick & sturdy pottery, cats were unsure at first but I think they like them. I wish the water dish was a wee bit deeper to hold more water. The raised dishes seem to keep floor dust/dirt/hair etc out of their food & water. Paw print design is very cute! Delivered within 3 days & easy online ordering through Amazon!
