This coffee is most excellent. Very dark, creamy and smooth flavor profile. Finish is mellow, not at all bitter or burnt. I French press or espresso my coffee and this grind is too fine for a French press. I believe this merits a slight reduction in states for my review but the coffee is truly excellent and I strongly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a very dark roast.

This coffee is better than any store brand, and many " fancy" brands, has tons of flavor, it does not taste super acidic either, tastes like real coffee. And all that for store brand PRICE!!!! If the price doesn't change, it will be a must have in my pantry at all times

Love LAVAZZA coffee. I drink the regular brewed in the morning and have a nespresso espresso machine that I use the Lavazza pods in when i want espresso. Both delicious.

This is a lot weaker that the Old version of their "Perfetto". I use a moka pot, and this coffee tastes like regular drip coffee. Not bad, just not really esspresso.

This coffee surprised everyone - expected good taste, but got excellent taste. As a dark roasted coffee, this was very smooth and satisfying to our taste buds! Excellent quality and really inexpensive! Fresh coffee is always best!

I've been drinking this coffee for awhile and love the roast and flavors. Always fresh and great quality.

Lavazza makes great coffees, and the Perfetto is perfect for every day drinking. It doesn't have the overwhelming roast/charred flavor of so many "gourmet" coffees. Instead, it offers rich and full coffee flavor, very smooth finish and incredible aroma.

Update: Works better with a French press with a bloom and steep approach to extract the flavors and marginally improve on the robustness. With a filter machine, I had to double the amount of coffee to get some body into the drink which diminishes the value for money so I'll give it 3.5 stars.Not bad but very subtle and much too light to be a medium roast hence the 3-stars. If you like your coffee on the lighter side something similar to Dunkin Donuts coffee, this may be for you. I prefer the Lavazza Dolcevita Classico which is more comparable to the Illy Classico 100% Arabico in its robustness.
