Do they get the sour smell after useing them all the time

Yes the can smell sometimes, but after using them a week or so, you can either wash them in a washing machine in 140 degrees Fahrenheit, or put them in the dishwasher and they smell fresh afterwards.

Are these the same as Swedish sponges ?

I see no difference between these and the Swedish sponges. They are great.
