This cleanser happens to be great for oily and acne prone skin as advertised, but I don't think this would be a good option for sensitive skin since it is strong.Scent is similar to Vick Vaporub, minty but not that strong. I felt a tingling sensation (not burning) when applying this product and left my skin a little dry. I followed with my regular skin care routine (toner, serums, moisturizing cream). I have mixed skin (oily T zone, dry in the sides) and I am using it only at night, otherwise it is too much dryness for my skin.One thing that threw me off were the ingredients included in the image of the detail page and the actual ingredients listed on the product, they vary a lot. For instance, on the page it says it contains 'Cyclomethicone' which is a silicone and may clog pores, contrary to what it supposes to do. Thankfully that ingredient is not listed on the product I got. Aloe vera juice is listed as the 3rd ingredient in my product, which is an absolute nice to have ingredient in any skin care product. 'Benzoyl Peroxide' is a very effective over-the-counter acne-fighting ingredient, for me it is the best when you have acne since it is stronger than salicylic acid. There are 3 alcohol listed: 'propanediol alcohol' might irritate skin, 'penethyl alcohol' this is another harsh and drying alcohol and 'undecyl alcohol' which is ok and not harsh for the skin.Manufactured in India.Expiration date: 10/2024 (2 years after product was received).

The first time I used this face wash, I felt somewhat of a tingle on my face while I scrubbed it in. I did not think too much about it until it happened again the next time I used it. It does not really seem to irritate my skin because once I wash it off and dry my skin, I do not see any residual redness anywhere. It does not hurt or burn much, but I can tell that there is some kind of chemical on my skin as I rub it in. The gel is pretty thick and does not provide any exfoliation. It goes on smoothly and suds up very minimally. I have not had any issues with it getting into my eyes and burning. The bottle is actually rather small, and considering I have been using this to wash my face everyday, it will not last much longer for me. Wish it came in a bigger bottle.

I ordered this cleanser for my son to use on his face. He has tried the acne cleansers containing salicylic acid and ultimately determined that cleansers containing benzoyl peroxide work best on his skin. This one is a small container, only 2.1 ounces. It would be good for traveling also. My son has used it and didn't have any unusual irritation or breakouts. The price is reasonable. I would recommend.

This face wash does have a slightly medicated smell. I dont mind that because its what i was looking for. Just a heads up incase you dont like that smell. It feels very gentle on my face, and removes my makeup good as well. My face tends to get a little oily around my nose area, and i have noticed a slight reduction over the week i have been using this product.

I got this for my acne and this stuff is amazing it dried my acne up and my skin is so soft. It has like a menthol smell.

I like this face wash: the scent is not overpowering, the salicylic acid helps remove embedded oils and dirt from the skin without over-drying. I'd like to point out however, that although Salzap Daily Face Cleanser was formulated specifically for acne sufferers, it's excellent cleansing and mild exfoliating properties make it ideal for all sorts of facial issues, especially those who have oily skin can benefit greatly from using it.

I got this because I was curious about the ingredient list and have been looking for a new exfoliant facewash. I would definitely use a moisturizer with this just due to the nature of the product, but it didn't strip my skin like other exfoliating cleansers tend to. I am well acquainted with products like this and am using this to try out a new product in my already established routine.That said, this has a VERY strong medicinal smell, which might be off-putting for some. It tingles a little during and after application, nothing terrible. I also felt a slight burn when I put on my collagen serum afterward but it went away very quickly. If you have sensitive skin, this might be a little too intense. If you do decide to get it, I wouldn't advise using it twice a day as the tube suggests, but I wouldn't recommend that for any chemical exfoliant, especially if you are new to using them.
