This review is long overdue. I'm only writing this review today bcos I've come back to purchase some more. I used to drive about 30 to buy this product at the mall and got sick of doing that. I've purchased online int he past from another seller, but the lotion is not original. At times it comes out brown and or with bad odor and at the end of the day, the lotion doesn't even work, so I stopped buying from that seller. One day I decided to go back online and look for another seller and luckily I found this seller who I took a chance on. The lotion came just as described. White appearance, no bad odor and best of all....it WORKS! My skin is clearer (not bleached), it gives a light tone to the skin and smooth appearance. I can't get enough of this lotion. I apply to my face and body and it does not clog up pores. Thanks again :)

Good body lotion

This body lotion actually works quite well. I initially bought it because I wanted to even out my skin tone on my upper chest, arms, and back. Because I started using this during the summer and wore dresses more often than not, I also used this lotion on my legs and feet.At first, I didn’t know if I would stick to using this lotion; it was very thick and took a while to absorb. I also didn’t enjoy how it smelled (the fragrance seems to dissipate quickly and once it’s on I didn’t notice it anymore). However, because of the excellent reviews for Makari's products , I figured I’d get through the bottle and see how it worked.I’m glad I stuck to it. After one month, I noticed my skin was actually brighter, smoother, and the tone had evened out a bit. I was nervous about the lotion causing breakouts because creamy lotions usually do. Happily, I never once broke out using this lotion.In order to manage the thickness, I ended up squeezing out a bit of the lotion first so I could dip my fingers into it, misting my legs with rose water I happened to have on hand and that made the application process a lot easier. On my upper body, I usually put the lotion on after I showered while my skin was still damp or after I’d put my vitamin C serum or glycolic acid serum on.A surprising change I didn’t expect was that using this lotion has been helping to eliminate some keratin pilaris I have on my legs. After two months of use, the tiny bumps are nearly all gone.My first bottle is nearly done. I finally decided to just put a little warm water in the bottle, shake it up and now the lotion comes out much easier. Yes, it’s diluted, but I’ve been diluting it this whole time and it still works quite well. I have ordered a second bottle; I’m interested in seeing how this works into fall and winter.I think Makari makes quality products. I’m using a few other products of theirs and they seem to work as advertised so far. I would love to see a version of this lotion that smells better and is less dense (or comes in a tub rather than squeeze bottle), hence the 4 star, rather than 5 star review.

Omg since I have been using this lotion my fave feel and look great. I do not have any skin irritation and discoloration. I love love this lotion. I will buy again.

I have been using this product since last June/July and around September i started noticing an " Investation" of skin tags around my face, my neck and chest. At first i thought it was normal but they just became more and more that i need a cryotherapy which i did and before i could even heal the scars left from removing like over 70 tiny skin tags ,more continued to grow and in January i had to go back again to get them removed. After that i stopped using Makari and since then, no new skin tags anywhere. I work in Healthcare and this is so alarming that i will escalate it further. What chemicals are you using in your products?Ladies, avoid this lotion, who knows those skin tags could become cancerous!
