The quality of this rope is incredible, but as a small person, I found it quite heavy for my weight initially. Today, I feel more vital because, at 4'11" and skinny, you need a lot of strength and breath. It's not a rope with the same weight as those used in schools (for example, to give you a comparison), but rather a more robust, thicker, and heavier rope. So, be aware that it is a fantastic product, but it may be severe for beginners or those returning to exercise.
