where are these made?

I don't know where they are made but I would not buy them - they appear to be simple to use - but it takes four hands. Stick with the plastic covered wire.

Good for trees 12 ft ?

This would work but if there's a bunch of movement, I would use some stronger. The velcro will work loose with the tree swaying.

Does it really have the Velcro brand typed on it? If it does that's just too tacky

Can I use on a snake plant since I will be putting it around the leaves to train to grow straight?

Yes, I use it that way too. Very soft on the side that touches plant.
