Purchased Qneen/King size and it fits my Queen bed nicely. Hangs down the side to just touch bottom of mattress. Not sure how much overhang you would get for a King Bed. The blanket is nice and warm and yet dosen,t weigh you down like heavier fleece. Not sure why people are complaining it,s to thin. It is exactly as shown on Amazon. Might be a bit overpriced but it is a nice blanket and will keep you warm in winter when used as a second layer under bedspread. I keep my windows open and find this is nice and cozy under my lighter bedspread..

Soft as a cloud. Warm and cuddly cozy. A mellow shade of blue, like the sky on a sunny spring day. However, every crease and wrinkle shows. It's not something that bothers me, but it may bother a more meticulous person. If you put another blanket on top of it, this one is likely to bunch up under the weight of the other one. I wish this were a double-sized blanket. I have a double bed, and this blanket is so wide and long that the corners drag on the floor.
