This kazan is outstanding!! Detailed instructions for conditioning are included with the item. I boiled water in it 3 times first, discarding after each time. Then covered with shortening and baked in oven at 360oF for 1h three times. It looks and works beautifully. Such a pleasure to cook in it. If you want to use it on the stovetop, make sure to get a wok support, as it will not stand on its own, as is the case with the genuine round-bottomed kazans. I made plov and dumlyama in it, and everything turned out amazing. Highly recommend!!
