7 Inch Shutter Exhaust Fan Aluminum,High Speed, 1680 RPM, 760 CFM, Silver

I bought the 7 inch size and overall I am satisfied. It is quiet and moves about as much air as you can expect any 7 inch fan to do. Nowhere near their rating, maybe about 200 CFM. I say that because I have another 7 inch similar fan that is rated about 200 CFM and they seem about equal in flow. The first disappointment is that it does not come with a cord so it's definitely not plug and play. Fortunately I had one so I got it up and running. More serious in the long run is that the shutters do not close against any edge on the sides. This leaves about a quarter inch on each side of the shutters where bugs can get in when the fan is off. I think I can add foam strips but access won't be easy. It comes with a ridiculous blue film on the shutters which others have said are almost impossible to remove. Don't think I will even try. Outside of that it appears to be a quality built fan that runs smoothly and quietly.

Works really good.I connected it to a sensor so it comes on for a certain period of time and then goes back off.But it works really great

The 7 inch version isn't powerful enough to open the veins very far. You can pull them and they will usually stay up. I spent more time getting the blue film off the veins than I did on the install. It worked for my application, ventilation for a generator box.

Fan blows well but the slats won't stay open and if you open them they won't close on their own.

I think the motor is a little weak but maybe my expectations are too high. I needed the size but was hoping the louvers would open a little further. They barely open I purchased 2, they are both identical. Other than that I think they will do the job and I would purchase again. The blue material will not come off the louvers big pain in the butt I just left it on perhaps UV will take it off. Tried using Gorilla Tape to get it to start but no luck.
