Doc Marten’s success story has gone on for a long time and they continue to have carved out a unique niche for themselves, unlike many others. There is the range of colors of course, but also the comfort and durability. I can’t speak to the difference of those made in England versus foreign manufacture, but at first glance they appear to be on an equal footing. (Pun intended.) For the purists, English ones are the most desirable, but much more expensive, of course. Seldom are copies better than the originals, but when copies are offered by the same brand, you can’t exactly call them copies anymore, either.

These shoes are the typical cool, sturdy. and stylish Doc Martens. Love em!
