No, the hole size is standard size, about 1.4mm x 1.2mm. Small holes can keep mosquitoes out, and it does not affect sight and air flow.

Could a cat climb this? Off label use - looking to build cat egress from second floor that would not support a human!

I'm pretty sure they could. My cats climb my screen door I made with this stuff all the time so I put a metal grate over the screen so they would stop doing that. It was holding two or three cats at one time just fine.

The window screen is folding in the package. But If there are some creases, the creases would disappear after replace the old screen serval days.
