I buy these because the OEM Corsair mics tend to die after a while with normal use. These also tend to die after a while, but for the price (about half the cost of a genuine mic from Corsair) I buy several to keep on hand for when a mic goes bad. Sound quality seems about as good as the original. Overall I would recommend, so long as you know you aren't getting a genuine Corsair mic.

Waste of money. Ended up buying the replacement off the Corsair website for $25. Wish I knew they had it for that cheap I would have ordered it from them in the first place. Doesn’t work, super hard to plug into headset because it’s too big, doesn’t have mute button. DOESNT WORK ITS TRASH.

The microphone installs fine and works good. Biggest draw back is it is missing the mute button like the original mic it replaces.

Very good quality. Doesn't have a button to mute like the original, however.

Worked without issues for about a month, then i began to have issues with the microphone working. As of now, it only works if i push it further into the socket.

Pro: Plug into my Virtuoso Corsair headset perfectly and the sound quality is great. Con: I doesn't come with mute button on microphone which isn't a deal breaker, still works great.
