There is no part of this cushion that is 17". The dimensions given when I purchased it are inaccurate

I have an Airbnb and an old-fashioned corner desk with a wooden chair that I had a chair pad on. After a guest leaves, everything must be washed regardless of whether you can tell it has been used or not everything must be washed! Therefore, to continually wash this chair pad was getting annoying. It didn’t dry well and crumbled so I looked for something else.Then I spotted this item and loved that the slipcover could be removed and washed rather than the entire chair pad! That makes it so much easier on me and it washes and dries just beautifully. My only comment that I wish were different is that the zipper is so short that it makes stuffing the foam back in it a bit difficult. I’m not sure why they didn’t just make a longer zipper that went further around the foam pad, but that would be my suggestion.

These are great cushions, the right color, very well made, but the sizing is not as advertised. they are too small for my dining chairs. They are really 16" wide, by 15 1/2 long with 9 inches between ties. Unfortuneately, they need to be returned.
