Not very cute, but it’s functional

I ordered this booked for me 4yr old son. To my surprise when it arrived in a clear packaging, I was excited to open. As soon as I did, a swan of what appeared to be large ant/roach insects started crawling all over. Do NOT purchase ...it's origin is from China. These could possibly be harmful.

The idea is great, but a few of the features are not thought through for little hands and beginning learners. The zipper is metal and difficult to start. The shoe laces are too short to learn with. A longer lace would allow for the learner to make bigger loops while mastering the skill. The button hole material ravels right away, getting caught on the buttons making it difficult to unbutton. The plastic "belt" snaps are too stiff for little hands. Otherwise, I gave it a three star because it is washable and has plenty of practice items. The idea is great for helping little ones learn or to help older folks with cognitive needs stay busy.

I’m glad I bought this for my son. This book is well made and definitely something I intend to pass on friends when we’re done with it.

I got this for my grandson and he loves it I use to have the doll when I was young but this is just as good.
