This is a great book for beginners who want to keep ants and know nothing about Them. This is an excellent book and very informative with an abundance of information on everything you need to know about ants, different types, feeding , what to feed, what not to feed, the housing to name just a few of many, many more information to do with Ants. I loved this book and found it extremely informative and I recommend reading this book it you are considering keeping ants and before you invest in an ant farm highly recommend 100%

As I brought an ant colony for my grandson’s 11th birthday this was purchased a week before so that he has some idea of what was required when his expected present arrived. White he found educational I found it’s reasonable price.

A very well written book, concise and informative but not overwhelming. Great little book if your looking for more than your basic information.

Good info on ants if you are starting out. Some info on species for beginners, some do’s and don’t. Worth a read

the book is good for adults and children alike, but children should be older if they want to read it by themselves. the language is easy to understand and all technical terms are explained, but the subject is still a bit complicated, so the book is good for big children and teenagers and adults. I found it pleasant that the explanations were not so complicated, but easy to understand. you also don't feel stupid while reading, but you learn a lot.

I like the book I didn't read it gave it to my grandson for Christmas because of his interest in ants and Ant farming

This book was very interesting to read. It offers a good first overview of ant keeping and explains how ants work and what they need. It also introduces individual species, but not as detailed as an encyclopedia, as it is for beginners and gives a first overview. There are many recommendations available for ant husbandry and what is important to consider.
