Necessary due to new design of evap canister
Unfortunately when they revamped the evap canister this is a necessity. Plus right in and is plug and play. The actual canister is the hard thing to install. Works as intended and converts old wiring to new wiring.

Great product. Fits a C6 Corvette even though Amazons fitment guide says otherwise.
Fit my 2010 Corvette. This is an updated harness connection between the old oval connector at the Evap canister vent valve and the updated square style connector with red locking tab. Amazon says it doesn’t fit my Corvette but it is currently installed with a new vent valve and working. As for quality, being a AC Delco part, the connector fitment was nice and snug with a good positive engagement. I would recommend this part to anyone who needs it.

Worked great for my Vent Solenoid Valve replacement
I got a code P0449 on a 2008 GMC Yukon XL Denali 6.2. After removing the spare tire it wasn’t too hard to find and replace the part. This part is the adapter for that part. It is necessary because the part has an updated connector.

Fixed 2010 Buick lucerne P0449 - WHY IS IT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE SOLENOID
If the price wasn't more expensive than the part that pairs with it I'd give it 5 stars. Selling this for 2300% mark up is insane but it is what it is. Cleared my P0449 code in my 2010 Buick Lucerne. Copy pasting from my Solenoid (ACDelco 84524035) review incase someone has a 2010 Buick and wants to know where it's located. **The location of this Solenoid is on the top of the Vapor Canister that is a black box under the car underneath the rear passenger area. Basically by the rear left tire area. (It's not in the engine area like I was misled to think) All I did was roll the car on some ramps, you could simply jack up the car, or if you have enough height to your vehicle, access it without stands. (Just remember to keep safety in mind when lifting the car or going under it) It was just three 10mm nuts holding the Vapor Canister up, you don't HAVE to remove any hoses to access it. Though it would be easier to disconnect it completely, I didn't have to. I turned it (The solenoid) about 90 degrees and used a screw driver to help pull it out since it was a little stuck. Once it was out new one went in pretty easy and then you just do all that in reverse and put it back up after adding the new wiring harness.**

This goes with the newer vaper canister .
I had to replace my whole Evap system on my 2007 yukon and I had to get the vapor canister but needed this to put in between the stock harness and new vaporr canister in order to work

Glad I checked Amazon before purchasing locally
The part arrived quickly and was of high quality. When my check engine light came on, I immediately took my car in to have the code read. I almost purchased the part right there at the auto parts store, but I decided to research online first. Luckily I did because I found the part significantly cheaper and still of superior quality. Since installation, my car has performed as expected and the check engine light has gone off. Amazon for the win!
