You get what you pay for!
I loaded a few mp4 movies onto this drive, expecting to watch some of them on a long flight I have coming up. They loAded without incident. But when I played them on my iPad, the dialogue was out of sync with the actors' lips. That drives me nuts!At first I thought it was my fault: poor quality ripping. Then, on a hunch, I put them on a different drive. They played just fine. They also stream from WDMYCLOUD to my iPad without incident.Moral of the story: Cheap is cheap! You get what you pay for!

I liked the idea that the drive connected directly to the phone but some of the files were damaged after the transfer and I could not open them.

This item feels extremely cheap and flimsy. I downloaded the app listed in the item description and followed the instructions. When I went to use it the phone stated “External storage not found.” I read the question and answers for the item and it stated that I may need to reformat the device. I did that as instructed with the same results.If it had been better made I might have asked for a replacement, however as cheap as it is I’m sending it back for a refund.

I did not open till last week to find that it was not working. I took it back to school the next day to check with my instructors, they said it was a broken piece. Then I realize the time for return lapsed. Felt so frustrated.

I received an empty package and a very reconcilatory letter promising a replacement free of charge. Still waiting!
I would give this order zero stars if permissable.

Poor quality.
I will not recommend this to anyone. Poor quality and it destroyed all of my kids photo after transferring it to the flash drive. It lasted 3 days and photos are corrupt non recoverable. Do not buy this as a mean of quick backup without PC/MAC. Better off using your own MAC.
