Great Quality Beeswax Beads — Perfect for DIY Skincare and Crafts!
The Sky Organics Organic White Beeswax is such a great product for anyone who loves making their own skincare, salves, balms, and other DIY projects! It’s high-quality, pure, and melts beautifully, making it super easy to work with. I really appreciate that it comes in bead form, since that makes measuring and melting much faster and easier compared to large blocks of beeswax. One thing I’ve noticed is that it melts faster than chunk beeswax, but you do need to make sure the heat is high enough when melting — if the temperature is too low, the finished product can end up with weird circular marks or rings as it cools. Once I adjusted the temperature properly, my salves and balms came out perfectly smooth and glossy. I love that it’s organic and natural, so I feel good using it in all my homemade skincare recipes. It blends well with oils and butters, and the results always turn out with a nice, creamy texture. Overall, this beeswax works really well and is definitely worth it for DIY lovers — especially if you make your own lip balms, lotion bars, or healing salves. It’s clean, easy to use, and gives professional-looking results every time!

Real beesewax
Real beeswax. Smells like beeswax, feels like beeswax, melts like beeswax. Real beeswax.

Used to make lotion bars.
As described. I do not have very much experience with beeswax, but I will say this worked great in my lotion bars; which was my main reason for purchasing. There is a strong smoky smell when initially opening the bag; however, my lotion bars do not smell smoky at all. I was def expecting them to due to the smell that hit me when I opened the bag, but they only smelled sweet after melting them down. I did learn that they melt much quicker and easier if you melt the other oils first and then add the pellets. On my first batch I melted the pellets before my cocoa butter and shea butters, and it took much longer that way. Buying a second bag!

Melts smoothly and no foreign particles :)
I make a ton of my own salves/ointments/balms etc. and after finally finishing off a 5lb bag of organic beeswax pastilles that I'd had forever decided on buying the Sky Organics pastilles. They aren't the very lowest price on Amazon but they're still a great deal in comparison with similar products and the quality is top notch. I've also purchased other products from them before and trust the company. I found the Sky Organics wax melted a lot more cleanly than the last bag I had, which I'd gotten from an herb store in my home town. With the last bag I occasionally ended up with a very fine but still slightly bumpy texture in my finished products. It wasn't a big deal as it melted upon application but I'm loving that this is triple filtered so I end up with a perfectly smooth texture. Also, being a natural product it's not unusual to find small organic particles in some beeswax but I was really happy to find no foreign particles whatsoever in this brand. It has a very mild waxy honey smell just like it should. I opted for the white beeswax and it blended beautifully with herbal infused olive oil and shea butter to make a smooth, creamy, lovely ointment. I ended up giving several little jars away for Mother's Day and everyone was pleased. This 1lb bag will last a lot longer than you'd expect since, at least for how I like my salves, a large batch usually only takes around 1/3 cup of pastilles....but when I do use it up I'll absolutely repurchase.

The 16 oz package is a great value for the price.
As someone who loves to do DIY and craft projects, I was excited to try out these beeswax pellets. One of the things that stood out to me was the fact that they are 100% pure and USDA certified organic. This gave me peace of mind knowing that I was using a natural and eco-friendly product for my projects. The pellets themselves are small and easy to work with. They melted quickly and evenly, making it easy to use for a variety of projects. I used them for making homemade lip balms and they worked great. The consistency was smooth and the end product turned out beautifully.

Really effective for making wax ear plugs for quiet sleeping
I use this to make my own wax ear plugs for quiet sleeping. I mix 10 Tbsp pure beeswax w/1 Tbsp pure lanolin oil Lanolin Oil USP Grade by H&B OILS CENTER Premium Quality Skin Hair Lip Moisturizing 100% Pure 8 oz , melt and stir well. When it cools I break it up into balls about 1/2 inch in diameter and store in a plastic container in the fridge. The trick is not to use too much lanolin oil or it gets to sticky/oily. The above recipe produces about 20-30 balls, but it's just a bit brittle/hard, so I just microwave them for a minute or so before putting them in my ears. This softens them enough to make a good, tight fit. I also use a bit more per plug than commercially available ones, so that I can really cover the inside of the outer ear almost completely w/a thick layer of wax plug. Covering just the ear canal is less effective at reducing sound; and by molding the plugs around the cartilage ridge in the outer ear, it stays put all night. I also put a small piece of cotton in each ear canal before applying the wax plug, so that wax won't get into the ear canal and cause problems. Beeswax is a natural anti-bacterial/anti-viral, so it helps prevent infection. But I still wash each plug w/soap and water each morning after removing, for extra safety. They last about two weeks before getting too small to use, at which point I just combine the plug w/some more wax to make the right size again. They can't shut out all sounds, but when things outside are noisy I supplement w/a white noise machine LectroFan High Fidelity White Noise Machine with 20 Unique Non-Looping Fan and White Noise Sounds and Sleep Timer . I can turn it up fairly loud w/out it's bothering me because the plugs drown out most of the white noise, but the white noise is still effective at masking noise.

Absolutely furious with this product. I have bought before with no issues and do didn't pay attention when making a batch of 200 (!!!) balms so only noticed the smell when lidding up - smells chemically - so tested the balm and or has completely different texture to regular beeswax! Almost plasticky. Am going to have to remake the batch at my expense, plus try to salvage the Tins, and source a new supplier as I no longer trust this company. BUY AT YOUR PERIL!!
