Exactly what I needed - a great addition to the course

This book has really helped me while studying my human development and Anatomy classes. Some words I never knew the meaning without having to look them up, but since I being using this book its easier to understand the medical words that are being used.

I am a sonography student and one of the pre-reqs required is medical terminology.. I bought this to help me study and learn better throughout the upcoming semester. I love that it has little quizzes throughout it so you can quiz yourself on what you just learned. It also breaks down the pronunciation very well. I highly recommend it for anyone also taking a medical terminology class, or for anyone who just wants to learn medical terms for their own reasons.

Smaller than expected, but contains a lot of helpful information for learning medical terminology and word building. Purchased the workbook too so I can evaluate my knowledge.

Basic and well explained

I love it

Basically i received the book in a bad condition. All pages were wet and it left the book with stains all over the book. Disappointed and not satisfied at all

The book is well worded, nice, easy to read text, the font size is good, and the whole content is well structured. Talking about the terminology, it is pretty good as there are thousands of different terms to learn for medical people. Also, the word building exercises and quizzes after the chapters is a good feature to make sure the person is learning well. Then, I loved chapter 7 i.e. acronyms and eponyms. This book is brilliant for a beginner as it helps in understanding the terminology because of the way the words are broken down to the simplest form. The only thing that can be improved is adding the pictures just to make it more interactive but doesn’t matter because the terminology itself is quite engaging.
