This cup warmer heats as described if your cup has a flat bottom. Most of my coffee cups have a small base which elevates the cup from the warmer. I found that it didn't keep my coffee hot. I returned it.

Ease of use!

Within a month of use it began to be difficult to operate. One has to move the cup around the disk and find the sweet spot for it to sense the cup and turn on. But it’s inexpensive.

Did not get warm enough. Did not keep coffee hot enough for me

This item keeps my coffee warm instead of room temperature.
