Popped off the battery cover, dropped in new battery, badaboobadabing, unit back in service!

Good battery works great

It worked OK, when it worked. Most often, it would discharge itself, even while plugged in. When tend to travel a lot, which is why I have it. It's supposed to clean when we're not home. Most of the time, it didn't work consistently enough for that to be a reality. I often had to manually remove the battery and reset it because it seemed to discharge all the time. I've spent way too much time on something that should just work. Anyway, maybe this is a vacuum issue, more than a battery issue, but it's impossible to tell. As of now, the battery won't take a charge at all. It's maybe completed 10 cleaning cycles in over 6 months. Very pathetic. I'll try a new battery but most of these Chinese lithium packs use counterfeit lithium cells or defective cells that should have been rejected by the manufacturer. Basically you're replacing one problem with another.

This is such an easy fix for your roomba. Works like a new battery should.

I have purchased this battery twice for my Roomba J7. The first battery lasted over two years versus one year for the original manufacturers battery. My only complaint is that when the battery failed it failed very slowly which caused a host of mysterious performance problems with the vacuum. All problems went away with a new battery. Would recommend this battery, good value and performance.

Perfect new battery. Roomba is back to maximum vacuum time. Good value for money when you consider it keeps your original purchase of the robot working for max time. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Even had a screw driver!

Easy to install. Roomba i7 now works again.

This worked for less than 3 months and then quit. My Roomba light would stay solid, no charge. I am so reliant on my Roomba I decided to quit being cheap and I bought the factory battery, right here on Amazon from iRobot. Fixed the issue immediately. Unfortunately I’m out of my return window so I’m stuck with a paper weight. Extra sad situation for me.
