Crystal clear, super smart, and easy to use!
This Arlo video doorbell has seriously impressed me. The video clarity is so sharp—I can easily see who or what is at my door, day or night. One of my favorite features is how it actually labels what triggered the motion: person, vehicle, animal, even packages. Super helpful when you’re not home!I love that I can view live footage, still images, and recorded video right from the app. Plus, being able to alert emergency responders straight from the app? Game-changer. Whether I’m across the house or across the city, I always know who’s at the door.Setup was really simple, and the app is easy to navigate. I did run into a minor hiccup when someone rang the doorbell while I was on a phone call—it didn’t connect perfectly—but honestly, with all the other features packed into this thing, it’s a small trade-off.Reliable, weather-resistant, and actually makes me feel more secure. Totally worth it.

Awesome Camera
The media could not be loaded. I just installed this last night in a few minutes, I had my equipment on 5G so I had problems until I got everything changed to 2.4ghz again. Ideally, I will also get a dual-band with a dual network to run both simultaneously. This video clip is at night so it's black and white, but the clarity and wide coverage are great. I mounted this inside a secure bracket that uses adhesive tape instead of skews, which I don't like to invade wood trim with, and it is holding strong so no one will grab it and run, but even if they do, the Arlo subscription provides theft replacement. The device itself is a very solid camera, not a light and cheap feeling. It was simple to set up, an important must first step is to make sure your router and phone are set to 2.4ghz or it will not connect period. Then put the camera on a charger, download the Arlo app, and get that installed, then just stand by the camera and follow the instructions to set up the camera. Check the battery is at 100 percent and install your camera where you want it. I am not replacing my doorbell which is not in a good location as it faces another wall, so I have mine attached to my door trim which is at a slight 45-degree angle but as you can see it captures both sides and down the entryway across the street you see my neighbors house very clearly. They have several plans monthly and annually too. The top tear offers 24/7 external monitoring like ADT does with police alert which you can get a home insurance deduction for to offset the subscription price which is very reasonable and includes unlimited cameras and 30 days of cloud storage. It's Alexas compatible too. If someone presses the button they can talk to you too, It's a complete package. It also recognizes if it's a person and sends you a notification so you can watch it just tap the notification and it shows the video clip without having to go to the app big plus. There is a momentary delay of course, but you can switch to ive view too. It has it all. I bought their cameras a while back just hadn't had them installed yet, I will do that soon. I like they don't need batteries because that gets expensive over time and they usually don't last long. I am finding I don't get the video notification until after the person who has like dropped off my food or packages at the door, until after they are gone and and I don't see anyone, but I can go to the app and review clips and find them, how much good does that do when you have to hunt for it and their long gone now. I also have a problem if my phone is locked. When I click the video notification, I have to unlock it to see the video clip; I don't have that problem with the Blink doorbell on another property.

Great choice
I’ve been using the Arlo video doorbell for a few weeks now, and I’m generally impressed. The video quality is great — crisp, clear, and wide enough to see both people and packages. I like the built-in siren and the two-way audio, which works well most of the time.Setup was easy. However, the live video has a few seconds of lag, which can be annoying when responding in real time. Also, many of the smart features, like motion detection zones and cloud storage, require a paid subscription. If you’re already using the Arlo ecosystem, this is a great addition. Just be aware of the lag and the need for a subscription for full functionality.

Exactly What I Needed – Worth Every Penny!
The Arlo Video Doorbell 2K (2nd Gen) exceeded all my expectations. The video quality is crystal clear, even at night, and I love the 180° head-to-toe view — I can see everything from packages on the ground to who’s at my door. The 2-way audio is super convenient, and I really appreciate the instant notifications when someone approaches. Setup was quick, and the option for wire-free or wired installation is a huge plus. The built-in siren adds an extra layer of security I didn’t know I needed. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting peace of mind and a sleek, reliable smart doorbell!

Great choice in doorbell cameras
I switched from a Ring doorbell camera to the Arlo for 2 reasons. 1- I already had multiple Arlo cameras on the outside of my house and 2- because what I owned was terrible. I am so happy I switched. The Arlo was very easy to set up and connect. The picture/video it takes is far superior. The connection time once I hit “live” is very fast compared to my former doorbell camera. It seems to have a really good detection ability. It doesn’t alert to every single vehicle that just drives by. There doesn’t seem to be a lag time to get the alter either. I feel that it is a good value for the money that I paid. The only negative is if you want to be able to heard a doorbell sound when someone presses the button you need to purchase a separate “chime”. I don’t mind not having it as my dogs are my alert, my phone alerts me and there isn’t a lot of times someone is ringing my doorbell. I highly recommend the Arlo doorbell camera.

Great security with versatile setup
Hands down the best doorbell I’ve used. The wireless and wired options add flexibility, and the head-to-toe video view is clear and detailed. Real-time notifications work promptly, keeping me updated. The live stream feature is reliable, and the 180-degree wide view covers my doorstep well. Overall, it’s a solid choice for home security.
