The CPHIMS Review Guide, 4th Edition (HIMSS Book Series) 4th Edition

This book is a good high-level overview of the topics it addresses, but it is full of grammar and spelling mistakes and a good number of IT concepts are obviously not understood by the writer. The latter of these concerns is actually a fairly bad blemish on HIMSS, which is attempting to be the group of thought leaders in this area.

This was a waste of money. Get the flashcards instead.

Just letting you know that I received the book but one corner is "crumpled" -- pages bent. But, will use the study guide. Thanks.

This book lacks any flow or organization whatsoever. It’s driving me absolutely mad. There are typos; it’s a nightmare. The lack of organization within the chapters takes away from overall themes. It’s extremely hard to conceptualize when each paragraph is about a different topic. I’d love my money back, but this is the only book out there that is halfway affordable
