As a young father who grew up in a difficult family, I would have loved to have read Famous At Home before our first child. I so needed vision and skills as a young man entering into parenthood. As you will discover in the book, we are all chasing something. Particularly we are chasing things that draw us away from the most important relationships. But with biblical wisdom and experience-informed insight, Josh and Christi walk you through understanding your story, your distractions, and helping parents with the skills necessary to build family bonds that will last generations. As an empty nest father in this season of life, I really wish I had this book when our parenting story began.

I was so excited to get the physical book! Then I saw the font size... I generally read everything on my kindle, but I wanted to be able to highlight and save passages and find them easily. I'm going to have to now buy this through Kindle to be able to even read it. I didn't realize I would need a magnifying glass or microscope to actually read the words on the page. This is a disappointment.

Although this book is about marriage and family, and I am neither married or have kids, this book changed my life. I firmly believe every person should read this book because it articulates so well what is most important in this life. It gave me an urgency to prioritize showing up well for the people placed in my life, and helped me know how to prepare for the day I am married and have kids. Family is so important and I love everything Josh and Christi stand for! Go buy this book!!!

But I somehow relate to both Josh and Christi in their struggles. Admittedly, I have not finished the book yet however, part 1 is heavily highlighted and tears have been shed. I have no doubt that it will continue to be life-changing. Josh and Christi have provided us with a treasure. They are giving us our families back. One decision at a time. God bless their work.

Everything about this book is clear, practical and encouraging. Josh and Christi do a wonderful job of conveying their desire to serve and encourage leaders to be their best at home (first!) through practical and direct wisdom!
