Surprisingly good quality and very effective. We found the Kingsize mattress bag easy to use with clear instructions. The seal and valve are high enough quality to be effective. The degree to which it shrunk using a standard hoover is incredible. Once rolled and secured with the velcro straps it makes storage so much more manageable. Taking note of other reviews about the risk of puncture during moving we covered the whole thing with an old sheet for extra protection, we'd highly recommend wrapping in something for protection.

Fantastic item! We have struggled to get a sprung double mattress into our loft room that has a narrow winding staircase until we got this! Ten minutes of vacuuming the air out of the sealed bag and the mattress went up the stairs in seconds!! Didn’t actually believe it would work, but it did brilliantly. Highly recommended!

Does not fit a super king mattress. Very thin and I discovered a hole in it, if this happened after I got it out of the box that shows lack of durability as I was putting a soft mattress into it on carpet.

I needed to transport a double Simba mattress. With patience and care I managed to shrink-wrap it enough to load into my small car. This was a good result. I managed without help. The webbing straps were great at restraining the rolled up mattress even if it started to expand shortly afterwards. Get someone to help to get best results (of course!) but I was happy enough. Delivery was fast and it’s a nice product. Got the job done!

It works. The bag is think and is plenty of space to fit mattress. Saves so much space until I’m able to take it to the dump. Would recommend

I needed this to dispose of a king size sprung mattress. We'd ordered a new matress and remembered that we have an absolute nightmare with mattresses ( we have spiral stairs). Really easy to use...hard to roll due to the springs and was scared they would burst through the cover ( they didn't)!. Made a nightmare job for us super easy and easy to transport to the local tip. Brilliant product.

Not sure if it's indeed thicker than competitors (if that's the case, then I don't think that item is sustainable unless you're using them as one-off to quickly move the mattress from A to B or deflate it once and forget in the closet for months), but the feeling of flimsiness never left me and I'm pretty sure after the first use - buying a mattress from a friend and transporting it in a van - it developed some micro-cracks/holes that will eventually reinflate the insides, leaving just the straps to fight for retaining shape. Speaking of straps - solid quality, long, strong and plentiful velcro. However they had the audacity to feature metal-hook straps in both promo video and pictures, which those certainly aren't, so it's way more difficult (or impossible) to reach the advertised compression level (not even sure velcro parts would align at such small diameter). The texture of the bag also left a, weird feeling as if they were trying to fuse half of it with some sort of bubble wrap and I don't think it worked particularly well (and as hard as it is to tell from the pictures/video, it doesn't feel like the design/finish that they advertise) Overall should be good for a single job, maybe two-three times if you're extra careful and ideally don't leave your house. Whether it's worth it at such cost probably depends on the cost of your mattress / van vs car hire, but overall I'd say it should be around 20 quid mark rather than 30

Waste of money for me - you may have a different experience. Ripped as we were putting it on my daughter’s mattress to move her out of uni accom. Not only did the packaging have to go straight in the bin, but I was also forced to leave an almost brand new, and immaculate £150 mattress behind because without the vacuum bag we had no way of getting it home. We had gone to great lengths to make sure the mattress would stay pristine for year 2 (mattress topper & mattress protector). All in all, relying on this product ended up costing me about £200. As you can imagine, not very happy.
