Amazing product actually softens clothes
I’ve been using this fabric softener for years now. I am allergic to synthetic fragrance and also have issues with eczema and this product is good for both. Please disregard reviews that say it doesn’t dissolve when they place it in the rinse cycle, as the instructions clearly say to place it at the very beginning of the wash. Some people really either never read nor follow instructions, even such clear ones as place in washer with laundry detergent. I’ve included a photo of the instructions that come with this product. I will say that realistically not much fragrance remains if you put clothes in the dryer, but my hang dry clothes do retain a slight lavender smell and all clothes are as soft as a regular liquid softener. Some reviews say they clump together, but I just put them in an air tight jar and have never had an issue with moisture or clumping. When used correctly this product works extremely well.

Works like a wonder!
I have a smaller asian washer and these are perfectly sized for my needs. Pop it in, no mess, no clean up. They work wonderfully and I have zero complaints. I will buy more when I am out. Love this product so much. I also use the Dropps detergent. It works wonders. If you have a bad stain, or a smell (like cat pee) you need to get out, throw the detergent, the softner and a bit of baking soda in the wash and the odder is totally gone. Just ask my cats. They are 100% less likely to pee on anything I wash with this. Yes, that's right, they won't pee on it once it is washed this way. Perfect for all pet owners as it's nontoxic to both animals and humans. So if someone gets a bright idea to eat a pod, they will get sick but it won't kill them. Please don't eat the pods. All the pods. No eat pods. Please.

Good product
I just finished my first box of using these pods. They do not smell too much, would not recommend if you like perfumed smelling clothes. I detect a small scent but works for us. Our clothes feel soft but best part is not lugging large jugs from Costco or Sam's anymore. I just placed an order for more.

Dropps detergent is the best I have ever used!
I started investigating laundry choices that have less plastic waste about a year ago. I found Dropps brand listed as kind to the environment. I ordered the smallest quantity to test it out. This brand gets my clothes cleaner than any other detergent I have ever used in my 45 years of doing laundry. We love it and as soon as I am out of the other cleaners in my house I am switching those too!I bought the glass jars that hold them. I use the stain and odor version of the detergent, the fabric softener and the oxi booster pods. I use the crisp and clean fragrance. The fragrance is very light if anything at all. They do sell unscented products. I use dryer balls with essential oils if I want something to smell good. I also use their dishwashing booster spray. It is excellent in cutting grease! If I have something with a burned on or greasy mess, I spray it and come back after I'm done loading and/or washing and cleaning up the kitchen. I use my soft or hard bristle brush and it is all good. I love these products!

Don't do it!!
This will eventually start leaving white gummy residue on your clothes and your machine. Worst mistake I made with fabric softener. I barely got my machine clean enough to start using again and it was only a year old. I then started researching what to use. Settled on white vinegar! Keeps my machine clean and my clothes soft! Don't make my mistake!!

Not ideal for warm temperature water settings with HE washer
I bought the Clean and Crisp soap and the softener pods to try on my laundry. The soap pods are amazing and yes my laundry did come out soft. The downside is that the tiny pills (ball-like powder) within the softener pods do not fully dissolve in warm water. These pills tend to stick to the clothes, creating fabric pilling that makes the clothing appear worn and rough. When the clothes go through the drying cycle, the most or all of the pills get removed. Unfortunately, some are in the dryer, quite a few in the lint screen, with the remainder falling off when pulling the clothes from the dryer. I'm not sure if this occurs with only the warm water setting, or if this occurs with all water temperature settings.

No static control
So far the best environmentally friendly fabric softener that retains scent that I have used. Everything loses scent by the time it comes out of the dryer but these retain a pleasant light scent. Your clothes will not smell as strong as the fragranced brands but that is a good thing in my opinion. Clothes are very soft as well. My only complaint is they don’t do anything for static which is a problem in the western US, so I have to use an unscented dryer sheet. May work better for me in the summer. But as others have said, they are very close at getting it perfect.I had no problems like others with them dissolving in cold water in an HE washer. No undissolved pods and no residue in any loads. I always used them in full loads so maybe they need all the clothes to agitate them for complete dissolution. None the less, not issues whatsoever except the static. Pretty happy with them and will constitute to use them.

Doesn’t dissolve
I’ve had this product and I’ve been a subscriber of this product for almost a year now and the washing machines in my apartment area only wash for a maximum of 28 minutes. When using this softener, it is a great alternative when it does dissolve all the way, most of the time I like to wash my clothes in cold water, and it says in the labeling that this can dissolve in any temperature of water. But since the cold water cycle is only about 26 minutes it doesn’t give it enough time to fully dissolve the product compared to a traditional home installed washer that would take about a one hour cycle. In my experience overall, this is great for regular households, but not great for taking to any public laundry service where the washing cycles may be shorter than an hour .
