Good product
The item matches the description perfectly. It is built to be heavy-duty, ensuring durability and strength, making it ideal for demanding tasks. Additionally, the price is quite reasonable considering the quality and performance it offers. I wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone in search of a reliable and sturdy option.

Worked perfectly.
Worked great and made installing a aftermarket deck in my 01 jetta easy. If using in a VW don't use the power wire in the harness, wire directly to an accessory in the fuse box that will power on/off with the turn of your key. In my car it was fuse location 6.

Works for the 2003 C240 with a few changes!
This is what another popular car audio website lists as the harness for a 2003 Mercedes C240, but Amazon says that it will not fit the C240. It will fit, but there are a few things to note: 1) The constant battery power (yellow) and 12V switched battery power (red) wires in this harness are actually switched for this car. I was connecting a Pioneer FH-X720BT, and the wires coming out of that stereo matched this harness, and I presume that most recent aftermarket radios would match as well. If your colors match, then you'll want to connect the yellow wire out of the back of the stereo to the RED wire in this harness. The red wire coming out of the stereo needs to be tapped in to an accessory (ACC) power source elsewhere in the vehicle, which I will discuss next. The yellow wire coming form the harness won't be connected to anything as the female end of the car harness isn't populated (meaning that there is nothing for the pin to attach to in the factory harness). T 2) You have to splice the ACC power to get it to power on. This is necessary because there is no ACC power wire in the harness to begin with. The closest one is the cigarette lighter. If you dig out the trim around the gear shift, and look underneath some foam, there's three wires wrapped up in some sticky black cloth tape stuff heading to the underside of the cig lighter: brown, yellow/black, and gray. The brown is ground, yellow/black is power, and the gray is illumination. You'll want to tap into the yellow/black wire for CD power. I opted to unhook the power from the cigarette lighter and just use it for the head unit as the head unit that I purchased has charging abilities and that is all I would have used the cigarette lighter for anyway. Also, in this year of C240 (and other closeby years, since most of the info that I gathered to get this working included information on other similar models and years) the cig lighter is in an awful spot because it is in a prime location for things to fall down in there and short things out that blow the fuse. (SIDE NOTE: the fuse for the cigarette lighter is in the fuse box in the top driver's side corner under the hood. It is a 15 amp fuse in slot 47. There's a tool in the left side of the trunk, in the other fusebox, for removing the fuses. Obviously, this has to be intact for this wire to work for accessory power. I mention it because mine was blown.) Once you've made those connections, the speaker connections that match color to color with this metra harness and the ones out of the back of your radio should match up with the harness coming from the car (at least they did in mine). I give this 4 stars because in this situation, I had to do some extra tapping and moving around. It wasn't a simple plug n' play install. It is made well, though, and ultimately did save a TON of time as opposed to cutting all the wires and connecting them on my own. I hope this review has been helpful - it is a culmination of many hours of research, YouTube, and frustration!

Works on Freightliner M2
I used this adapter to wire aftermarket radios into both of our Freightliner M2 106 flatbed tow trucks. Crimp this onto the new radio wiring harness and the factory Freightliner harness plugs right in. Nice and easy!

This worked fine for my 2007 City Jetta, contrary to Amazon's indication. It makes installation of an aftermarket radio pretty simple if you are systematic. The wire colour coding matched the JVC radio I installed, and as a bonus, most crucial wires had printed labels. If you can make joints, solder, and insulate (remember to put the heat-shrink tubing on before you solder if you use it rather than tape) all should go well if you pay attention. You will almost certainly also need an antenna adaptor, BTW, so research that too. Be aware that you may not need the provisions for a powered antenna; there is lots of discussion on the web.

Very good to keep an ISO harness on the car side and your stereo, so it is easily interchangeable if you ever need to. It was a nice few years when all cars came with ISO stereo connectors... oh well

This product worked for my 2007 City Golf, however, I did have to go out and buy an antenna adaptor and my antenna still isn't working great, so keep this in mind if you are replacing your stock stereo
