Great! With no wind…
This product is seriously fantastic! We’ve had them in two separate houses (yes, we came back to buy because they were that good!)But let’s be honest here. My boyfriend and I enjoy our sleeping in (when we can) So sunlight is the devil.Pros:*definitely blocks out light/ sun*SUPER easy to install. Just sticks up on the top of the window after you peel back the tape.*you can cut it to any window length/size*no power tools needed.*cutest little, nifty clips in case you want to open the windows or let some sun in 😊CONS:*adhesive is not very strong. We learned fairly quickly that you also need some thumbtacks or something to make sure it stays up there.*any sort of sideways wind/fan is an absolute NO-GO. I’ve raised my blood pressure by 6000 trying to make sure these F-ers stayed in place to keep the sun out.HOWEVER !!!! I will say, we only had issues in our second house that has poor ventilation/needs fans. A normal house(last place) we had absolutely zero problems minus the adhesive. These absolutely do work, and very well. But you have to remember that they are paper. So they flow easily. The material is similar to that of thick construction paper.Overall, I would absolutely buy again for wherever we live.8/10

Inexpensive quick fix
The shades are darker than some I have bought in the past at retail stores. Overall Iam happy with the product. Some downfalls:**The clips to keep the shades up so you can see out your window DO NOT WORK. I bought cheap medium sized binder clips to keep mine up and they work perfectly for me.**The adhesive doesn't work. This is an issue with most paper blinds. I have always used my staple gun to secure these types of blinds and it works perfectly 👌!!I live in an apartment and my window directly faces the parking lot. This makes it difficult to sleep at night with head lights shining in. Neighbors also frequently pass by my window to walk their pets. These shades help to block it all out and give me privacy and darkness at night when I need it. My cat will likely destroy these at some point so I wanted something that was easily replaced and that's exactly what I got. The box of six was a great bargain! I have a wide window and used 2 side by side. I would definitely purchase this product again.

Good temporary blinds
These do a good job as temporary blinds. After a while the adhesive won’t be as sticky anymore and you might need to use some clear tape to stick this to surfaces.Easy to set up and removeSize is as advertised

Garbage
I purchased these for temporary use in 3 bedrooms, until I found the curtains I liked. Temporary is subjective. A couple lasted less than one hour; all were down within 1-2 days. I used the thumbtacks included - could not handle the weight of the shades/blinds. I had the excess shade resting on the window sills so weight should not have been an issue. I bought 3M double sided tape to spot tape it to the window frame. Still started to fall. And when they fell, the paper landed, bending and twisting, so that every time I reaffixed the shades, they look like garbage. Do yourself a favor and get the Redi Shade brand - bought them in 2019 and there is one window I STILL have it up in - over FOUR YEARS LATER. Wish they had been available when I needed them!

Terrible Clips and adhesion
They are cheap paper but that is clearly stated. TBH they don’t look half bad and definitely keep the light out. Price is very good for 6 shades. Fairly easy to cut. The adhesion is poor. Held up longer than required applying pressure and they fell. The ones that didn’t fall were attached to the vinyl window. The ones that fell were attached to a wood frame around the window…but included thumbtacks actually held since they were pressing into wood. The issue is the clips that hold the shade up. If you want the shade more than 50% up, they don’t hold. Extremely frustrating. I should have purchased from the competitors. After watching videos I see they have clips that pinch more like a clothes pin. These little plastic rectangles that are supposed to hold the shade up or worthless!

Excellent Temporary Shades
I bought these shades as temporary window treatments while I wait for my permanent ones to arrive. I have had them up for over 3 weeks now, and they are performing beautifully. I read the reviews of some having issues with the adhesive, but I have had no trouble at all -- they are as secure as the day I put them in. I did take extra care when installing to make that adhesive seal as tight as I could get it, because of the issues others described. I raise and lower these shades most days, and use a pair of binder clips to hold them up when raised. They filter light just right for me, allowing enough privacy at night (they are in my living room) while letting some light in during the days I leave them down. They seem durable for temporary use, and were easy to trim to size. I seldom write a review, but these have been wonderful for my purposes. I recommend these shades for anyone looking for temporary window treatments.

Set of six paper shades
The main reason I bought these was to keep most light out of the rooms I have them in. So far, they’ve not only kept out light, I’ve noticed the rooms seem a bit cooler in temperature now.Keeping these up with just the tape isn’t ideal, and the tacks do not go into the windowsill I have. I bought gorilla glue double sided tape. They stopped falling. It seems like they’re taking some time to reach the bottom so I can finally remove the drapes I have at my windows but that isn’t a big deal. While installing the PAPER shades, my may get some paper cuts. That was my mistake and so I believed a warning should be issued to some that are in a hurry, like me and want these up and done already. They are not sheer. You cannot peek in from the outside with these on, unless you aren’t careful with your measurements and you cut too much off of one shade. I left them as is.
