Hi dear, thank you for your question. This is because we adopted vacuum packaging for the products, when it is vacuum, the bottom line of the sponge interlining will be compressed, when you open the packing to be exposed to the air, compressed laminated sponge can absorb air gradually swelled, carpet of crease will disappear, so please don't worry about it. The rug packed well with a vacuum bag which will make the sponge little thinner than its original, but it will be restored 3 or 4 days later and will not affect its usage.

Does this have purple in it?

The colors all run together . It has some light purple it is a very nice rug. Colors are pink ,blue ,yellow light purple and alittle light green. Very pretty.

What is the difference between the upgraded version and the regular?
