price was good and good reviews is why i purchased it and it gets you in the ball park for a wood stove sort of, but is not very accurate, i used two different laser thermometers on my stove they both read around 480 while this magnetic thermometer was reading like 320ish, gonna buy a different brand and hope its more accurate

I already reviewed this with pictures after I got it. This thermometer work great! According to my digital heat scanner, it's accurate within 1-2 degrees F. The magnet is strong and it doesn't budge. The paint and decals are staying put and haven't chipped or peeled. It works very well. I appreciate the larger display, which makes reading the temperature from a distance a lot easier.

We have this stuck onto our fireplace, it looks great. The quality is very good and it’s easy to read. It’s so incredibly easy to use, you really just need to stick it onto your fireplace. The magnet is really strong. It’s 100% worth the money.

Easy to place anywhere on the firebox. It helps a lot to monitor the temp because my firebox can really put our some heat. I recommend this product
