The Everything German Phrase Book: A quick refresher for any situation Paperback – December 17, 2008

The first Edward Swick book I bought was "The Everything Learning German Book" and I was very impressed by how well-written it is, and how it introduces grammar concepts in an easy-to-understand way for beginners.This "German Phrases" book is aimed toward a person who probably only intends to visit Germany as opposed to living there for an extended period of time. The phrases are grouped into categories, usually ones relevant to what a tourist encounters but there are also some more expanded topics.What I like the best is the consistent and reliable pronounciation guides provided for all the phrases. Saying the phrases aloud and getting used to the sounds of the German language are CRUCIAL to success in the language.Highly recommended!

This book provides the tools to really star learning.Once I started really using it, (Notes, repeating, comparing). My road was easier.I would recommend it for people who is trying or starting the road to learning German.
