PEACE OUT Microneedling Dark Spot Brightening Dots

I’ve been using these consistently on a huge dark spot on the side of my face and it WORKS. I’ve had this spot since my teens, and prior to trying these had undergone several different methods of trying to be rid of this spot, including chemical peels, photo facials (ouch), lasers, and microdermabrasion. I did have to buy several boxes, but it was so worth it. I’ve now switched to some dark spots on my upper forehead and they are gradually fading. This isn’t a quick fix - you do have to invest in more than one box and use it consistently.

Some stayed on. Some fell off. Would take few uses to see a difference.

The acne dots worked so well I thought I’d try these. Well I was highly disappointed!! The dots left my face extremely red so I would have red circles wherever I placed the dot - the redness occurs within minutes of placing the dot and takes hours to nearly a day (with steroid cream) to go away. I’ve used other microneedling products without this reaction so I’m not sure what gives. The dots also don’t stay on the face well even on freshly washed and dried skin! I did use on my chest and that stayed on for nearly 2 days without any redness. I can’t say I used them long enough to know if they would have made any difference in the dark spots on my face. I tried them twice to see if the redness after the first time was just a fluke - nope it was not. So I stopped using them after it was clear they caused the redness. I used twice on my chest but that’s not long enough to see a difference. Basically don’t waste your money

The red arrow points to a set of spots that were treated just two times with these dots. The blue arrow points to another spot that is untreated; all of the spots were as dark and definite as this one before treatment. Immediately after removing the dot, there's a lighter area around the age spots, but it seems to even out after a couple of days. Although it was effective, I don't think I'll continue to use it on age spots on my hands. It would just take an impractical number of dots to fade all the age spots on both hands! I'll save the rest for a post-zit hyperpigmentation. The box contains two packets of six dots. They feel a bit prickly when applied, kinda like brushing up against a stinging weed, but only briefly. I applied them at night, and they stayed in place for at least 10 hours. The area was not irritated next day.
