Can/Hidden Air Freshener, Stocking Stuffers, (New Car Scent, 1 Pack)

Makes your car smell so good. Fresh scent is so welcoming when I get into my car- every time.

I gave this a shot because it was affordable and had positive reviews. This is as honest I can be about the “new car smell” variety: It smells cheap. Really cheap. And very floral. Like a very generic, nondescript fake floral smell that you’d get from buying those really cheap fabric softener sheets ar the dollar store. Or the cheapest air freshener spray at the same dollar store. New car smell should be subtle and clean and maybe even a little complex in how it smells. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot but I had it slightly open in the backseat of the car and was in the car for about 15 minutes and I had a headache by the time I got back home. Typically I’m not sensitive to scents but this smells more like fumes than it smells like something to make the air smell cleaner. I threw it away and had to let my car air out for a day. And ironically, my thrash can now smells like an overload of cheap, nondescript floral fumes, which is overwhelming. I actually preferred the natural smell of garbage to the scent stuck in there now after the air freshener has been sitting in it. Honestly, whatever your car smells like right now I promise it’s better than smelling fake flower scents from what seems like hundreds of cheap fabric softener sheets stuffed into the seats. Ugghhhh.

Just open slightly and ur car will smell great! Let me tell you how wonderful this works. A package of meat purchased from grocery store had slid into my door panel and I didnt notice til days later when I opened the door. Whew... thought a critter climbed in and died! After removing I cleaned and sprayed but scent remained. My son had told me he uses Refresh so I ordered immediately. It did the trick and the smell is just like a new car again. Not overpowering and does not give me a headache.

I bought and put it in the back seat cup holder of my truck. It did help to neutralize the smell, but the canister is a little tall to get under some automobile seats.

This smells nice, and does it's job. I just wish that the freshener had a better reach.

I drive a SUV, and I had to put this in the cup holder to really smell any fragrance at all. When I slid this under the seat of the passenger, or at the bottom at all, I honestly couldn't smell the product. I mean, it's cheap, so its not a total loss. I got a 50% partial refund for the issue (thats not returning the product, after all.) BUT If you have a car, or something compact in general, you will have a more success rate with this than in larger areas!
